Well, meeting Dr Sax for the
first time as a sixteen year old who would believe years later we would work
together, that night he was playing with Shaun and Jay Jackson.
Sax player extraordinaire he has played on 22 recordings since ’62 and works
with The Majestics and The Martels to name a few. He works often with kyb
player Mark Rutherford.
Dennis King
"shuffle king" play drums and sings and is a long
time industry veteran he also works with Wayne Buttereys Groove Project.
This year veteran Jon Warren has become a regular on bass/ vox and is a
rockin' addition to the band.
Roly Platt For the past 30 years,
Toronto native Roly Platt remains one of Canada’s premier harmonica players.
Roly’s versatility and skill on the instrument has enabled him to become a
sought-after live and studio musician. To date, he has been recorded on over 800
national commercials, TV/ film scores and album cuts. After first learning to
play Harp by listening to mostly Blues and a couple of Bluegrass albums,
Roly’s early years on the road introduced him to a wider variety of music
including; Country-Swing, Country Rock, R&B & Jazz. This experience of
having to incorporate the Harp into non-traditional roles helped form his
melodic approach to playing and define his unique style. Roly is actively
playing and recording and can be seen with Suzie Vinnick, Rick Fines, John
Findlay or sitting in with some old (and new) friends around the Toronto area.
